GLEEFULLY teasing her Twitter followers earlier this week about the prospect of a third Sex and the City film, Sarah Jessica Parker has further fanned the flames by posting a picture of herself sitting on what appears to be her character Carrie Bradshaw's New York stoop - accompanied by the hashtag #longdayforcarrie.

"It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day," Parker posted, without noting what that work happened to be, alongside a picture of her surrounded by several colourways of a shoe named Carrie from her collection.She added hashtags:"#longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!"

Her 800,000-plus followers reacted with predictable excitement, both to the image and the prospect of the rumoured forthcoming movie, with one quipping:"If this isn't about a Sex and the City movie, I swear this caption is so unfair!"
