As we know, thousands are feared dead following a huge earthquake on Tuesday night that has devastated Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince.Electricity is missing from vast sections of the city and schools, hospitals, parliament buildings and emergency service stations have collapsed, leaving the city in desperate need of aid and support from overseas.
Not only have houses been destroyed and flattened on each block across the city, but unrest and aftershock has set into the torn community. The island's three hospitals have been damaged, leaving medical professionals no other choice but to treat the injured outdoors in the street.
