Carole Middleton wears Catherine Walker & Co. to Pippa Middleton's wedding

Carole Middleton nailed mother-of-the-bride style once again today, wearing a pale pink ensemble to youngest daughter Pippa Middleton???s wedding.

After Middleton wore a sky blue, Catherine Walker & Co. coat dress to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge???s wedding in 2011, she became something of a case study for great mother-of-the-bride fashion, and her polished, sleek look was deemed a global hit.

Today she stuck with the strategy that she knew had worked so well for her before, choosing another pastel coloured coat-dress for the occasion, this time with a nipped waist and button-down front.Carole accessorised with rose-tinted pumps and a suede clutch bag- both custom made by Emmy London-as well as a wide brimmed hat by Juliette Millinery.

Pastels for a springtime wedding are a tried-and-tested occasionwear favourite, and Carole will have no doubt coordinated with the mother of the groom, as well as the wider bridal party when picking her palette.

Many retailers expanded their offering to include more coat dress styles thanks to an endorsement from all three of the Middleton women, who regularly choose the silhouette for weddings and garden parties.
