Standout piece:The wide-leg ankle jeans are the most flattering dark blue wash.Don???t confine them to the school run though, smarten them up with a crisp blue shirt and block heels for maximum wear.

Standout piece:A feel good purchase, Gurung???s fun print on the classic Toms shoe is a winner.

Topshop Boutique

What???s happening:We consider Topshop???s Boutique collection to be semi-stealth.You???re less likely to catch everyone and their daughter???s friend wearing it as you would the normal Topshop line, and it isn???t as pricey as the Topshop Unique collection shown on the catwalk. The Boutique autumn drop launched yesterday.

What should I buy:The new collection is full of purple goodies (thecolour of the season, FYI) as well as wardrobe classic staples ??? grey T shirts, navy coats and sharply cut straight leg jeans.
